Why We Make Everything in Los Angeles
For us, California isn’t just inspiration — it’s where the work actually happens. Every California Incline piece of clothing is produced in Downtown Los Angeles, a community of small factories and skilled makers who specialize in high-quality garment production.
Keeping everything local allows us to stay fully involved in each step. We visit the dye houses, check fabric weights in person, and work directly with pattern makers to refine the fit of every piece. It’s a level of attention that’s hard to achieve from afar, and it ensures that the clothing feels consistent — soft, familiar, and intentionally made.
Local Craftsmanship
Los Angeles has a long history of garment production and a network of partners who understand natural fabrics, small-batch runs, and the nuances of premium loungewear. Many of the people we work with have spent decades perfecting their craft, and it shows in the details: clean stitching, soft finishes, elevated fits.
Responsible Production
Producing locally also allows for smaller, more thoughtful quantities. We create what we need, when we need it — reducing waste and keeping inventory intentional. It’s a slower, more responsible approach that aligns with the way we design and the way we hope our pieces are worn: often and for a long time.
Designed in Malibu, Made in Los Angeles
Our pieces are shaped by Malibu’s landscape — the light, the texture, the ease — and brought to life in Los Angeles. It’s a short distance between the two places, but it brings the brand full circle: inspired by the coast, made by the community we trust, and finished with the quality that defines California Incline.
